Grubbins on Ice was a DLC expansion for the original Costume Quest that was realeased on the 8th of December, 2010. It expanded upon the world and lore established in the base game, and allowed players to explore the world of Repugia, which had previously only been referenced.

Synopsis[]
Lucy and Everett go out looking for proof of the magical events that took place in Costume Quest. They come across a Repugnian speaker, which produces a portal to the land of Repugia. A monster comes through this portal and abducts Lucy, and the portal closes behind them.
Everett, having witnessed all this, gathers Wren, Reynold and their costumes, and they go through the portal to save Lucy.
Gameplay[]
Being DLC, the core mechanics of the game do not change. However, the player is given access to all costumes they should have unlocked during their playthrough of the base game, and the characters are placed at level 10, which was the maximum level you could be in the base game.
Additionally, there are new Battle Stamps and Costumes to be collected, which will aid the player on their journey.
